IMOH UMOREN’S BRIEF PROFILE Imoh Umoren is a multiple-award winning Director and Producer. Born on 13th August 1982. He is vastly experienced in all parts of production, Studied Television and Film in Ryerson, Canada. Severally nominated for The Future Awards Screen Producer Of The Year he recently won four awards at the In-Short Festival for his immensely critically acclaimed short film All Sorts Of Trouble that was nominated for The AFRIFF International Festival He was also The Series Director of one of the biggest series in Nigeria filmed in the middle of the Sahara Dessert; Dessert Warriors Reality Show His other credits include MTN Project Fame (Season 1 and 2), The Maze (TV Series), Lemon Green (Film), MTV’s Advance Warning, Malta Guinness Street Dance (Reality Shows), Side-by-Side (Sitcom), Multilink’s Break The Bank, MTN Family Gameshow (Gameshows), The Station (Drama Series) and several Music videos, short-form videos, commercials and infomercials. He has in 2012 alone produced 3 Gameshows and directed the highly-anticipated sitcom Yaw’s and Myne. Imoh Umoren worked on a documentary; The History Of Nigeria and is writing his new sitcom Alexander The (Not So) Great He created, directed and produced Deadline - a fast-paced drama series about a group of investigative journalist and his film Have A Nice Day was nominated in the Best Cinematography category at the Africa Magic Viewer's Choice Awards and was also an official selection at the Africa International Film Festival. His experimental film Hard Times won the AMVCA awards and is the first film-noir silent film in Nollywood. Imoh Umoren is currently filming his highly-anticipated film The Happyness Limited Directed the critically-acclaimed musical webseries Indigo and shorts; Emem, Mama Na Boy and Lift-Off Imoh Umoren is very highly rated in the business and is looked upon as a leader of the new school of Directors and Producers and his hobby includes writing and solving Jigsaw puzzles.
