Toluwaloju Olowofoyeku (Toju Foyeh) was born in the late 80’s, developed a passion for fashion at a young age. Growing up, she was surrounded by several family members who were into fashion. As a young couple her parents started a clothing line and her grandmother was a designer who attended the London College of Fashion. Putting her education as priority, she obtained an LLB Law from the University of Reading, UK and an LLM from the University of Manchester, also in the UK. At this point, she decided to follow her passion by enrolling for degree programmed at the world famous Instituto Marangoni in Milan. After her degree she returned to Nigeria to attend the Nigerian Law School before setting her clothing line.She participated in the Arise Magazine Fashion Week Lagos 2011 and 2012, New York Fashion Week 2012 and became noticed as a designer to watch as she bagged the ‘Future Awards Africa Fashion Designer of the Year 2012’. Over time the Toju Foyeh brand became a favourite amongst A-list celebrities in Nigeria (Tiwa Savage, Agbani Darego, Betty Irabor, Osas Ajibade etc). This created a window into the South African Market for the designer as she later partnered with other A-list Celebrities (Nomzamo Mbatha and the First Lady of South Africa Her Excellency Bongi Ngema-Zuma)
