Hauwa Ojeifo

She Writes Woman
Founder & CEO
Lagos, Nigeria
Hauwa Ojeifo is a Mind and Mental Health Coach whose personal experience with bipolar and post-traumatic stress disorder drove her to seek answers about the human mind. She has successfully lifted herself from her own challenges and finds purpose in helping others do same.

As a firm believer that all matters are of the mind, Hauwa uses her knowledge as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, coupled with other mind therapy and coaching tools to help her clients (individuals, groups and organisations) improve various aspects of their lives - be it in health (mental health, domestic/physical/sexual abuse, trauma etc), business, career, family, relationships, self-esteem and confidence, and more - by addressing their thoughts, beliefs, emotions and behavioural patterns.

She is the founder of She Writes Woman; an award-winning movement of love, hope and support for women living with mental disorders. Through her movement, she is giving mental illness a voice in Nigeria by taking back the narrative of people living with mental disorders and normalizing the conversation around mental health.

Hauwa was recently selected as the only female Queen's Young Leader 2018 from Nigeria by the Royal Commonwealth Society and was also honoured as the Possibilities Woman of the Year by iWOW in April 2017. She was among Nigeria's 100 under 25 by SME 100 Awards, 30 Outstanding Young Persons in Nigeria by JCI Nigeria, The Future Award Africa Nominee in Advocacy 2017 and one of Avance Media's 2017 100 Most Influential Young Nigerians.
