After completing a bachelor & master’s degree in Economics and working for a consulting firm in the UK, Damilola Odufuwa realised her passion lay within media, and made a drastic career change.
While working with music/media companies such as Universal Music and MTV Viacom UK, Damilola decided to move back to Lagos to focus on making an impact in the Nigerian/African media landscape.
Assuming the role of editor-in-chief at Zikoko.com, she transformed the then 3-month old company to a formidable force in the Nigeria pop culture scene.
Setting up Konbini in Nigeria in September 2016, she has successfully integrated the global media company into the minds of Nigerian millennials - making Konbini Nigeria one of the most influential media players in the country.
