Business Model Canvas
The Business Model canvas is a visual chart which forces business owners to describe their product’s value proposition, infrastructure, customers and finances. This session will cover the nine building blocks of the business model canvas namely: Key Partners, Activities and Resources, Value Proposition, Customer Relationships, Customer Segments, Cost Structure, Channels and Revenue Streams.
 
The masterclass will be held by Averi Thomas-Moore, Company Builder Associate, Accion Venture Lab Ghana

Averi is the Company Builder Associate at Accion Venture Lab, supporting all aspects of developing and launching the Company Builder Program, including validating market opportunities and business models, identifying and recruiting founders, defining the nature and structure of Accion Venture Lab’s support, and providing that support as needed.
 
Previously, Averi worked with the How Group where she analysed consumer financial service products currently available in Ghana and globally including traditional and digital banks, mobile money, mobile wallets, and lending platforms.
 
Prior to that, she worked at Venture Garden Group in Lagos, Nigeria, as Business Development Consultant. She was also a Business Development Manager Fellow at Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) in Accra advising the incubator’s portfolio companies. Averi has a bachelor’s degree in International Business with a concentration in Finance from Howard University.
