Very often creatives are caught up in the excitement of their creative bubbles without giving sufficient thoughts to extracting commercial value from their creativity. Many times, it is not apparent to creatives that their creative output have real commercial value beyond the expression as it is.


Making Money From Creativity will engage participants on how creative activities translate to intellectual property rights, and how these intellectual property rights can generate revenue. We will point participants to the legal framework that enables the commercialization of creative works . The discussion will also shed light on how to avoid common pitfalls  of such commercialization.


Panelist are drawn from diverse creative sectors and will share their experiences with the purpose of showcasing how they have succeeded in converting their creativity to revenue.
