As the African start-up ecosystem continues to grow and investment options for entrepreneurs widen, our attention is diverted to the investors to tell us what makes for an attractive business. What’s hot and what’s not in this region.

Tech-Village Square: What’s Hot, What’s Not  will explore the critical roles emerging technologies can play in helping to address its age-old development challenges and achieve exponential growth over the next decade. The discussion will focus on security, Artificial intelligence (AI), Blockchain /Cryptocurrency, VR/AR, Internet of things and how they can be used to deliver disruptive outcomes and reshape digital business.

How can key stakeholders help nurture a vibrant and high impact technology innovation ecosystem?, What do they think about startups taking advantage of these technologies? How can we align with entrepreneurs using disruptive technologies within sectors? And how can entrepreneurs take advantage of these trends? With a show of the 'what’s hot' or 'what’s not' sign, panelist are prompted to talk a bit on the topic being addressed and based on the sign they raise we are sure to know where they stand on that topic!
