When Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg visited Africa unannounced in 2016 he landed in Nigeria before a stopover in Kenya. (Noticeably, only the Nigeria leg of his visit was chosen for international news reports.) Yes, Nigeria is the continent's most populous country and this could explain why Mark chose it as the first stop for his first Sub-Saharan African visit... but maybe there is more to it. This session will take a deep dive into the latest Facebook stats to find some answers.

Nigeria provides a huge opportunity for Facebook and there may be a brighter future for businesses that use the Facebook platform. Facebook Stats: Why Nigeria Is On The Radar is a "must-attend" talk for developers, entrepreneurs and digital agencies who need to keep a close eye on Facebook growth trends and developments.
